there comes a time in your life when things come to an end
when the truth of the matter hits you
when everything comes to the light
when people subconsciously reveal they self to you
when you find out who really got love for you
and who was juss frontin the whole time
there comes a time in your life when you gotta cut stuff out

there comes a time in your life when
you stop bein in denial
when you admit to ya self who you really are
and you learn to love it and accept it
when you know people is 5 feet from you and they steady talkin
and you juss laugh to ya self like "how childish can you be"
when you hold ya head up high as niggas walk pass you and have they laughs
talk they junk and talk about the frivolous things of this world

there comes a time in your life
when you will have to answer to the Father
not just about what you didnt do, but what you did do
when you will have to fess up to all the things you did wrong
and a time when you should have said sumthin, should have did sumthin
when excuses will not be accepted, only straight forward truthful answers
when ya friends wont be there to back you up
it's juss you and the Father

when you become true to yaself and fake to no one
when you let everything you are shine to the world
when you admit to yourself “I am not my own”
when you figure out livin for others don’t make u happy
but a puppet on a string being pulled one way then to the other side

impressing your peers wont matter
things that are seen WILL pass away. We see it every year
but those things that are unseen will last FOREVER.
Fancy things and keeping up wit the Jones’s will slip you into darkness
Because there will be a time in your life when it all will be over………..
