I see a bright future
One where God is completely in control
Where even though weeping my endure for a time
My joy is that Jesus will make a brighter tomorrow
My clouds will pass one day, the hurt that I know won’t last always
And even though pain is guaranteed, my smile comes from knowing God almighty
And beauty in the sunsets and waterfalls and mountains and valleys
Words spoken so eloquently surface from a long line of memories
When I open the fresh pages of my life and my joy vs pain is transcribed
You will understand, see a glimpse of the glory of God and His mercy on my life
No more black clouds, gray skies, those days are done on my life
He’s not the author of confusion so I'm done with that in my life
Clear mind makes for a clear, God prescribed vision
I take a dose of His medicine and get healed by His remedy
No longer does the sinful nature of my being and other surprise me
Rather I'm just simply appalled, wondering if we will ever see throw the
Thick cataracts that blind the vision of a people so destitute and wrecked by the blinders
Satan has placed a bit in our mouths, turning us in every way he wants
Being rebellious against such calamities and glammed- up empty promises is the needed thing
Things of themselves aren’t wrong, don’t get it twisted, but would you give it up
If you knew it was either that or your soul?
Imma scream it from the mountaintop
I'm staring at the woman in the mirror, asking her to change her ways
Fitted caps and earphones plugged, seeing broken hearts
Cracked by the very thing we crave and never are fulfilled by
Longing to be held and wanted and loved for who we are, not for how we’re seen
If only we would cling to the Good Thing
Ask any millionaire, if the answer truthful, it really is mo money mo pro’lems
At the end of the day, if u have nothing else
Money cant by yeah love, maybe lust for the moment
Tangible things can’t fix a internal problem
Love is the remedy
John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
These are the things
Seen thru these brown eyes
