Water : its interesting...

ok so, attempting to be a fully focused, interested-in-what-im-being-taught-at-the-moment type of student for the first time in years, i actually was paying attention in my history and systems of psych class today.

we watched some of a film called What the Bleep DO We Know? and it was talking aabout that very subject. how do we know what we know? can we prove it? how can we prove it? stuff like that. but before the teach put the film in, she told us a little part of what was on the film. this is the part im writing about.

so, in the film, they talked abpout this Japanese monk named Emoto. he took bottles of water and took microscopic pictures of them, like, zoomed in pics. these are the before pics. adter that, he taped words on each bottle. words like "mozart symphony", "love", and "i hate you. i want to kill you". so you got your basic positive and negative thoughts/words. after some time (not sure how much), he took microscopic pictures again of each collection of water and found some interesting shapes. basically, the water reacted to the words that were taped to the bottle.

in the film, they mention, if this is what happened to the water based on words it ws being "told", and we are 90% water, just imagine what our words, and words others say to us, do to us.

yeah, its deep.

im posting the link below so you can see the website.

***DISCLAIMER***
i havent looked deeply at any of this yet. i just ogt out of class. i just thought it was interesting and if i had the tools to try this myself, i would (but i dont, sooooooo)

but anyway, heres the link. again, the film is called What the Bleep Do We Know? might have to watch the whole thing. seemed interesting.  oh the things you learn in psych class when your teachers arent telling you that your life is over at age 20 and the only thing that will advance is your vocab and you can do crossword puzzles now! :)
