Review of Lions and Liars

So I know this is a little late but I have been bumpin Lions and Liars since I got it. Sho Baraka’s (twitter @lionsandliars) newest album is bananas son! With the goofiness that we all know Sho Baraka to have, he entertains as he educates. Talking about the downfalls of Christians, the corruptness of a distorted view of race and the beauty of the Lord, this album definitely has something for everyone on it. From the sinner to the saint, everyone can find a song or two (or three or four  )that speaks to them.
Featured on this album is K-Drama (Ohio stand up!), Lecrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii, Pro, Conviction and many more that are sure to make this album one to bump all summer long.

My favorite songs on here gotta be Famous featuring Erica Cumbo and Mercy on Me feat Chinua Hawk, along with I.T.W.N.O.I. (in the world, not of it) (which will be my license plate when I get a car lol). Famous is all about Jesus and in everything we do, we gotta make Him famous. Pretty self explanatory right? Mercy on Me describes different situations that a lot of people find themselves in and how its sometimes hard to trust God when it seems our situations and lives are so messed up, but at the end says that “We hate to seem dependant, but that's the way that he intended/” and that we need His mercy. ITWNOI is pretty self explanatory.

I personally give this album a five but don’t take my word for it. Go listen to it for yourself (then buy it :) ) http://www.merchline.com/reach/productdisplay.10272.p.htm
