UPdate on the Starved Children

I had written a blog earlier about 4 brothers that had been starved by their foster parents. the boys were recently on The Oprah Show. I'm trying to find more clips on their interview. the beautiful thing about these boys, their new family and their situation is that through it all, they thank God for allowing them to go through that terrible time, so that they could help others that may be going through similar situations. They also said that they forgive their former foster parents. Forgive. Wow!, what a concept! Starved, made to eat pancake batter, discovered eating out of a trashcan, not being able to develope properly. And they FORGIVE. http://www.oprah.com/oprahshow/Parents-Amber-and-James-on-Unconditional-Love-Video

ok this isnt exactly about ministry, but...

ok so today i came across a very unusual and disturbing news story on 60 Minutes. it was about these four boys who are all in my age range who were adopted and mistreated. the adoptive parents of the boys were abusing them. the incident that seemed to set off the investigation of these bos was when neighbors had seen them eating out of a trash can.
the combined weight of the 4 boys, who ranged from 9-19, was 136lbs thats not too much more than me).
I think this story speaks to me so deep because i have a love for kids, people in general, and a passion for REAL justice. i think thats why i keep watching the Lifetime movie America (which, by the way is a great book. ou should read it and watch the movie). so all of these things is just reassurance that i have to not be afraid of what God has put in me ( to adopted and foster children, be a voice for the voiceless, fight for them and PRAY PRAY PRAY!)
Join me as i pray for these boys (who are doing better now and when i saw their interview on 60 Minutes, they were thanking God :) )and others like them and in similar situations for their strength to get out and let their test and life be a testimony.

Grace and Peace
